“I’ve been in martial arts since 5 years of age. My mom and I loved martial movies and all the best martial arts movies came out while I was growing up through the ’80s and ’90s. By the age of 10, I knew this is what I wanted to do with my life.”

Cyrus started his martial arts journey at the early age of five years old with Kenpo Karate. Soon enough he knew what his passion was. Recognizing this, Cyrus’ mother always wanted to keep Cyrus into martial arts. For his 10th birthday gift he was enrolled into WTF Tae Kwon Do and trained for three years and obtained his black belt. By the time Cyrus was in the 7th grade there was no question in his mind when his teacher asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. “A Kickboxer” was his reply.

Throughout his school years Cyrus participated in many sports and was always an exceptional athlete at every sport he played. He always found team sports to be easy and although he enjoyed playing different sports, his heart and mind was always set on the combat sports and martial arts.

During his high school years Cyrus had three uncles who were all boxers. One of them was a pro boxer who started training Cyrus and got him into boxing at a local community center when he was a senior in high school.

After school Cyrus traveled around the world and became the Muay Thai Champion that he was destined to be.
